Sailing Charters on Lake Tahoe
Sailing on Lake Tahoe is a very popular activity all summer long, but sailing charters on Lake Tahoe are few and far between. Luckily for you, at Lake Tahoe Boat Rides, we offer a small private sailing charter unlike any other. This is not a large group sailing booze cruise (but you are welcome to bring your own), nor is this a sailing school (but we can recommend a great one). This is an interactive sailing experience. Your amazing Captain will give you a guided boat tour of Lake Tahoe while also teaching you about sailing. You choose how involved in the sailing you want to be.
Why a Sailing Charter?
If you’re like I was, then you may think that a sailing cruise on Lake Tahoe can’t possibly be as much fun as a powerboat tour on Lake Tahoe. You would be wrong (If you can do both, then DO IT)! Don’t underestimate how awesomely fun a sailing tour will be. You’ll still get one of our amazing and highly rated Captains. Check out our reviews on Trip Advisor here: Lake Tahoe Boat Rides Reviews. Our Captains are pros on all of our boat tours of Lake Tahoe so you can be sure your experience will be amazing.
About our Lake Tahoe Sailboat
Our Lake Tahoe sailboat charters are even more unique in that they have a 50 hp motor on them. A boat this size usually only has a 5 – 10 hp engine. What does this mean for you? If Lake Tahoe decides to be a beautifully glassy day or too strong of winds to sail safely, then we can always use our motor and take you on a normal boat tour of Lake Tahoe. Even if the winds are great, we can still motor into Emerald Bay for a nice tour of the bay, Eagle Falls waterfall, and Fannette Island. You can even swim off the boat if you so choose. Book your Lake Tahoe Sailing Charter today by either calling (530) 545-1223, emailing events@TahoeBoatRides.com, or going to Book my Lake Tahoe Sailing Cruise to book online. Ready for more photos yet? Here you go.
Did you know you can charter the sailboat for special events like the 4th of July or Labor Day Firework show by boat? It is the absolute coolest way to watch the Lake Tahoe Fireworks. We can also take you to the American Century Championship Celebrity Golf Tournament to watch the famous tee it up on hole 17 at Edgewood Golf Course.
